NRA National Police Shooting Championships, Foxfury style!

Well, it's Sunday night (really Monday morning) here at the east coast remote command post of the FoxFury PL LE sales team.
I am just starting to recover from the two week trip back to the home office and out to what turned out to be a superb trip to Albuquerque NM.
The friendly and accommodating people at the NRA law enforcement training division hosted the 2011
National Police Championships at the NPSC Police Pistol Combat ranges at Shooting Range Park.
What an incredible range facility they have to work with there.

Early morning in NM, bright skies, perfect temperature and the sound of gunfire, you can't ask for more.

 On the firing line,

Agencies from all over the world were represented by some fantastic shooters.

One of the three gun tactical stages, yes, I did give them a bigger banner after seeing this one.

The trade show part was in two air conditioned buildings, although small by most standards, the big boys in law Enforcement firearms were well represented.
S&W, Colt, Ruger, Remington,Glock and Sig were in attendance, with most having pistolsmiths in the booth to handle any problems that came up on the competitors handguns.

I did not bring the "big Booth" but we had some great comments and interest in the lights.
Of course the new 600 lumes Checkmate was the hit of the show.

If nothing else, we always have the "brightest booth at the show!

I don't know what this was used for, or who brought it, but I sure do want one!

It would work great as a "company car", anyone listening?

At any show you run the risk of running into a horses hind end, at this one, it was a literal risk!

I didn't get use to the Big sky and open areas, that mountain you see is about 20 miles away.
Big difference from driving in NC.

Great people, lots of shooting and everyone at the NRA went out of their way for anything you needed.
Wish I could say the same about the travel part of the trip, that was a nightmare from the start to the finish!

I did get the opportunity to talk with this guy for a while, you might recognize him.

This was my, "cool, it's Gunny" face

You might remember him from this TV jewel

Of course I had to have one taken with my "war" face, scary huh?

After we talked about his trip to Iwo Jima, and his journey down into the tunnels with only one light, I had to make sure that the next time he went, he went prepared!

I have a backlog of blog posts to catch up on, look for the next installment soon.
